Mourinho is a Chelsea spy.

footballers pay needs to be paid on results not on simply which team they play for.
You try recruiting the top (or, come to that, any reasonable) players by offering them pay based on results only and you'll have difficulty raising a team.

I suspect that you don't know much about football? ;)

Great match so far, I said at the start of the season, Man Utd are not a quality side they have about 4 great players (pogba/ibra/Degea/Rooney) but the rest would struggle to get into a relegation threatened side.

Was very disappointed we didn't beat them last week but with 11 players behind the ball what can you do.

Chelsea look good this season.

Based on current form how you have got ibra/pogba/rooney there I'm not sure.

Hey Ron, great to hear from you again. The question posed is a challenge to the status quo as is my response, the change would need to be wider than just one team, hope this clarifies. have a great day.

Mate I'm obviously not going on current form, on current form top 4 would be-

2-

3-

4-

Absolutely embarrassing.

I'd sack JM tomorrow.

Can't get the best out of our top players.

Get Rooney, Zlatan and JM of payroll and play exciting youthful football

Well we knew that JM was a has ben lost for ideas for some time and the performances are evidence for all to see but I don't understand what people expected to happen so suddenly with team of average players and now he's taking the whole team down too
Look at Southampton's performance against city where every player gave 100% and they were unlucky not to win all due to their manager same can be said for Wenger, Klopp, Koeman and Pocchetino

No they need a better manager who isn't arrogant, doesn't blame others for his failures and can put out teams that play attractive football

Hi dave! A bit like paying politicians by the sort of results they get in Brexit negotiations? I doubt (m)any would be too keen on that though...

Football is the subject. Try writing about that and not attacking others or thread spoiling.

It wasn't me that came up with the ludicrous idea that footballers should be rewarded purely on results. Even if you could get all 20 Premier League sides to agree to that (and if you know anything about football, you'd know that it would be easier to get you to vote Remain), there are still another 72 clubs in the Football League, let alone the Spanish, Italian, German, French etc leagues. If just one club offered a good basic salary plus win bonuses, which is the status quo, then I suspect the best players would flock to that club meaning, theoretically, that they would win most of their games.

I really don't see how Fellaini Rob's a wage to play football. Awful. Never a Utd player.

Can't believe Jose even gives him a shirt. Absolute filth.

Carrick was quality other night.
#26
He can start by dropping half the team and putting in players that should be in for starters Carrick, Mata, Fonsu Mensah and Schneiderlin plus hope Shaw is fit soon. They should drop Blind, Smalling (reprieved if Bailly injured) Feillani, Herrera and Rashford later only as out of position argument he hould play instead of Zlatan. Terrible team selection by Jose and nearly all do not deserve their wages this week after that performance. Man utd fighting for 6th this year very poor like last 3 years

Perspective, United have played 2 more games this week, haven't had anytime to train for this game and were going to revert to park the bus tactics, That soon back fired when Chelsea scored so early on, Game plan instantly undone and easy game for Chelsea, hit us on the break.

We can have no excuses, Chelsea were obviously much better than us, A long way to go, Love how everyone creates threads about United, Yet City draw several and lose 4-0 v Barca and no one bats an eyelid lol.

All that money and Jose is the reason Man Utd are under the microscope more often, obviously Man City are in a bit of a rut too.
#31
I do hope that Jose can rediscover the fire and ambition to create another great team. Despite understandable public protestations to the contrary, he hit the wall at Madrid. As a lot of successful people in much lower profile industries will know, when a certain level of financial security is achieved, it is hard to truly replicate the drive that got you there in the first place.

Yeah, I understand, so much money wasted, we should be winning the quadruple and winning every game 10-0 but the same could be said with LVG. Since the game v City I've come to the conclusion that it's going to take more than JM to fix United. When the money stops rolling in we could be in trouble, we can over look the odd bad result here and there but their is a contrast between the top six and United, They all look like they can all compete but we look like a mid table team. I don't understand Mourinho playing Fellaini over Mata either.

We got our tactics just about spot on v LFC, you guys should have beat us but we could have nicked it too, that point pretty much counts for nothing now.

His team today looked a lot like Chelsea's did last season and i said before that he's lost something. He's simply not the coach he was a few seasons ago.

Doesn't help that none of the United players has any character and it's weird to see such a gutless United squad. They've lost that aura, that thing that made them special. They've got no identity.

Maybe, but you've spent huge amounts and hired a new coach and seem to have gone backwards.

And here's the thing - Jose won't change his system because he doesn't know another system.

Pep, Kloop, Conte would all adapt. Jose didn't last year and he won't in the future.

They've all got their own styles, United have had to adapt from the Fergie era.

It's all to do with the players now. Managers mean nothing in football since wages have risen to ridiculous levels. Players basically decide which managers stay or go. Chelsea players didn't want Moaninho there so they made sure he was sacked. Something needs to change fast as it's way beyond control. Very few players play out of love for the game anymore; many would happily be on the bench getting their crazy wages.
#38
I will say one thing about the match, When I heard who the ref was I feared the worse, Martin Atkinson has cost United 2 games at the bridge in previous years, Costing us the title. It was forgivable one match but the following match it was clear that he was very bias. He didn't need to be bias today, baring what should have been a red card for Luiz he had a good game.
