after a little chat with my OH about holidays, we have decided to go forego a holiday this year to save for a fantastic trip to the states next year in July. Want to go to San Francisco for a few days and finish the holiday for a couple of nights in NYC shopping but cant make a choice of a city in between!
Any suggestions, tips etc?
We have been to the US before, Florida and New York but wondered if any of you have been to any other cities of interest.
Ou boys will be aged 13 and 15 when we go.

Vegas!!!!

Definately want to go but not with the boys. We are saving that trip for just the two of us!

just been googling ranch holidays and there may be an issue with my OH's weight and the horses.......he is 6ft 5" and weighs 20 stone! :)

well if cost is a consideration you might want to seriously consider one of the bigger places like los angeles vegas or texas etc as flights to these are cheaper than the smaller places such as tulsa.

A whole continent to choose from!!
Tricky.
How about -
Chicago
from where you can do:
http://www.cedarpoint.com/
drive across to Niagara
and then down to NY??

or N through California to the Redwood forests or Rockies to Seatle, then across to NY

or S through California to LA and National Parks.

thanks for the info there CoM, I know the boys quite fancy texas, SF is OH's choice, NYC is mine so the boys should be able to choose (within reason) the middle stop-off! Looking at a 2 week holiday in all.

texas is great because its a huge hub, a lot of planes fly there domestic and long distance so you shouldnt have problems getting flights and connections x x

( would you be able to fly into dallas without humming it? lol )
