hey guys

just cannot contain the excitement within... so it must be unleashed upon ye ;)

I qualified with a degree in adult nursing on 5th September.

I've just been offered (and accepted) a job as a theatre nurse! This is my DREAM JOB... I did a placement in theatre dept at the beginning of the year after requesting to go there, and was based in the orthopeadic theatre rooms. Loved it so much, it just didn't feel like a job - I'd have PAID to do what I was getting to do there... I just knew I'd found my calling.

And now I'm getting to go back for GOOD! :D What a great early birthday present! It's my birthday on Saturday so there will be a huge double celebration!

I start on 17th November!

Louise :) x

I'm 4ft 11.5 inches. Now the half an inch COUNTS!! haha!

And I'll be 27 on Saturday! But still look and feel 15-18. :p:w00t:

I think the lack of height has a LOT to do with looking so young

Oh & happy birthday for Saturday :)

I did that course - tho it wasn't Access for Nursing coz I was young it was SVQ 3 health for me and Access for those over whatever age it is... I did that course when I was 19-20 then never started my nursing til I was 22!

once you start your nursing the time will FLY by believe me!! I can't believe how fast it's gone

Thanks hun

I finish the Access course in June but I'm thinking about taking a year out before I go to uni. So hopefully I should be qualified by the time I'm 31! That sounds scary cos I'm 26 now! :w00t:

Good luck in your new job x
