FAIL!!!

My woolworths banned me from the shop.

It's a shame for all the good folks that work in woolies, must be gut wrenching at this time of year for them and their families.
#15
I put a tenner in a box in my local which closes in the next week or so. Have to admire them for staying to the end. :)
#16
Oh well there is plenty pubs, takeaways ansd bookies opening up beside me im sure they can get a job there!!;-)
#17
you do have to admire the staff (well most of them) for keeping going through what must have been a very tough time..some couldnt do enough for me..others well less said the better

i dunno

went in yesterday (last day here), and there was 2 staff in the queue, with about four bags of stuff that they had "claimed" before the shop opened, now with the last day 70% off PLUS there 20% staff discount, thats 90% off in total.

tins of chocs, (50p) xbox games and ds lite games (£2-£3 each) and clothes from like 20p per item. Bloody Terry Choc Orange Eggs, 1p :x Made me mad. Yes, I know they are losing their jobs, but shes bought about £150 worth of stuff for like £15. Faithful customers that shop(ped) their every week has no chance of a bargain

I managed to pick up a Leapster Game for £3 (was £10), and The Priests CD for £3.29, was £11. but apart from that, it was like bull bait, with queues of NO LESS than 15mins waiting at the tills

Good for them. May as well make the most of a bad situation for them.

There have been problems in the local store here with some people giving the staff quite a bit of abuse with regards to the prices of items.

Personally I think they did well not to tell those people to FO, because I know I would have.

All i can say is bravo for continuing to work. If i had a choice of working thru christmas to loose my job at the end or jacking it in, i know what i would have done, there loyalty is to be admired
