Can't wait to move in, she is moving in this weekend, but I have to wait a whole week to finish my exams in Coventry!
How I'm going to concentrate for them is beyond me at the moment though!

Concetrate by taking the view that if you screw the exams up you won't have the house for long :P

Congratulations mate! Now the race is on - which will happen first; paying off your mortgage, or persuading her it's a great idea to walk naked around the house. It's looking more like the first one for me :(

We won't? We can afford everything with cash left over from just her wages, so we are pretty safe, just I need to find a job quick when I move.

Sure is! Instead I'm just going to go on about moving in, buying bits for it and how we still have a 9-10week wait on our sofa! :x

Yes thanks dude! Hope you are all settled now and going well as well!
We actually managed to get £499 knocked off our final bill even though the 'incentive' wasn't running when we purchased, when I saw we managed, our solicitor did.
Our solicitor was awesome, he even got back to us at like 8-9pm from his blackberry in regards to our questions, updates etc. :-D

Yeah since we started looking into it all I've been keeping up with figures roughly, although if memory serves I thought this month from last month figures were down 0.1%, and since Feb to March down by 0.6%. But the market does seem on the up especially was it 45-46% i read about yesterday which lending went up by...thanks to people like ourselves, it is all about the FTBs! :-D

EDIT: Also the fact of the matter to us wasn't as profit as such, but in Coventry we were renting which was costing us about £900ish in outgoings per month. Well buying a new build in SE London is actually costing us the same. At least this way we have a chance to get something back off of our money.

Come to think of it, I miss the pubs and the people :-D

Still talk to first year friends daily...one of them is lurking around on this forum somewhere!

Yeah exactly! The University have screwed me over, thus why I might be a little sour though.
But pubs and people! Yeah one guy from the first year dropped out but we stay in contact and meet up when we can. Always interesting to see what others are doing rather then daily contact sometimes.

I should be very proud of my Sugar Mummy :-D
She is the one who has put most of the cash in, and has to deal with all the moving in stuff.
But then again I did it all a couple of years ago, and paid majority of the rent as well. Swings and roundabouts.

As we say it is 'our' money not 'hers' or 'mine'.

Cheers!:-D

Thought I'd share a few photos with you, afraid they were only made with my Blackberry and thus crap and make everything look smaller.

I hope not as its a new build and we had a report done on it.
Yeah view is nice, and the buildings to the left and infront are mainly grade 2 listed, a few grade 1 listed thus wont be redeveloped either!

Thanks, think chesso was referring to my thread about plants which started as a joke, but ended up quite serious actually (very strange for HUKDs, usually the other way round!).
