Link to the thread you bought the PSP in? Why not just ring him?
#2
Not unless you file criminal charges at your local Police station. The £58 were a gift, Paypal will not be much interested.
#5
You finalised the trade outside of FS/T so to be honest, you were a bit of an idiot

What makes you think he's made a runner? Did you call him on his mobile/landline? May he/she has gone away over Christmas!?

There is no criminal offence unless the OP can prove that there was intent to defraud, its a civil dispute as the OP clearly stated he "paid" via gift option. Its a matter for the buyer and seller to resolve or to pursue via the small claims court.

:)

yeah i made the offer in the thread and finalised it by pm. thought that was what you are supposed to do
#12
he actually went as far as then sending me ANOTHER pic of a "headset he found and would throw in for free".........he actually took a pic with his username!

If you do put so much emphasis on the gift part then I am sure even Small Claims will throw it out, as the cash was a gift. :whistling:

The seller made no acceptance in the thread

Cut your losses and perhaps read the FS/T rules and guidance before your next trade

It was Mod locked for a reason :whistling:

Their website is this. (Given that their profile points to it and 'Phaser' is an administrator of the forum there).

WHOIS brings up poop all though.

Give it a few days. With a bit of luck he/she has gone to visit mum/dad over Christmas/New Year. Just because Royal Mail promises to deliver Special Delivery items next day, doesn't mean they always do.

Parcel might be sitting at your local delivery office, waiting for someone bothered enough to put it out on a delivery route.

Using the same picture URL combined with google won't take long to find links...
#21
yeah, it says on paypal the payee was "phasermarket"
#22
you can donate to the same name that i paid via paypal
#23
he seems to be residing in the usa

I don't ever use my real name so you can call me Phaser, I have Ventrilo installed but no mic atm, will be getting one on the 7th Dec .

I'm 17 years old, I like computers, girls blah blah all that **** haha.

Shouldn't be hard to scare him into refunding you if he's only 17. Send some court threats his way and I'm sure he'll send the money back (well.. hopefully). Worked for me when some **** tried to rip me off on ebay.

If he is indeed the admin of that site then he looks like a shady sorta guy. Selling (presumably hacked) facebook, youtube, twitter accounts and (probably stolen) Windows CD keys..

asked a few times on this thread but ignored.

JUST RING HIM UP FOR AN UPDATE!

It seemed to be such an obvious scam if you ask me. BARKY even put this comment in "fact is,nobody here will send you 75 quid up front since you have no history of selling here and only 7 posts-thats just the way it is. your best hope of a sale is to send first to a high feedback long standing member."

Bet your glad you didn't pay £3 for the paypal with protection now aren't you. No offence, but some people on here need to find the other half of their brain He's just joined and has 0 feedback. Ask him to post first or if you really want it pay through paypal for goods !

It would have made naff all difference.

However, I agree the OP is clearly struggling in that dept - I suggest you read the FS/FT rules next time.

Royail mail are taking a while to get parcels out ATM, Im waiting around a week for some to arrive, and bear in mind they have'nt been working since the 24th there is every chance that it's stuck in the postal network, Hopefully

Definatly should serve as a wake up call to all using the fs/ft to be more cautious about whom they are dealing with, If ever i deal with high value goods on a forum fs/ft board i always make a point of getting a LANDLINE number for the seller.
#35
i sent something recorded on 17/12 and it's still just showing as within the royal mail system on their track and trace.

maybe the OP should wait a few more days, you never know.....................................

As he has just offered £220 for a phone he has the cash.....think we could have a gloating scammer here(but will be happy to be proved wrong)

What are you talking about, I have not broken any rules.

I never finalised anything and the OP messaged me through hotmail, not this site, a good few hours after the thread was closed.
