Take this person to the side when no one is watching and give them a slap, usually works. :thumbsup:

It's not work related so I don't think you can, ask one of the others to scan their form then delete the names etc.

I know it is not work related but it is the way that the person spoke to me that has really annoyed me. It was embarrassing for me to be spoken down to like that and I am not happy about it at all.

Can't, they have reference numbers and barcodes.

Take the issue to their/your supervisor initially (in "I would like a word in your ear" aside).
HR procedures will often stipulate that is the first point to follow of any complaint.
Suggest lay it on thickly about (charity) event & how dissapointed you are about uncaring response & support for (company supported) charity event this person has exhibited. See what response you get from supervisor!

Did you agree with them that they would look after it and pass it on to the next person?

Otherwise it's like me leaving my laptop in your front garden then coming back in a week demanding to know where it is!

The whole department was told a week before that they would be coming around.

I have decided I am going to make a complaint to my manager tomorrow. I am not letting them think they can talk to me like that and get away with it.

Maybe so, but I personally don't think you can make them take responsibility for a bit of paper you left on their desk. Maybe if you'd left it with them and agreed that they'd pass it on but it sounds more like there was a general annoucement made and the paper just left on a desk?

I work in a law firm and the person in question is a solicitor. If they can't manage to keep track of a single document (that they knew I had given them!) then I would hate to be their client.

Like I said, it is not so much they lost the sponsorship form, it is how they spoke to me.
