Halkyn took advantage of cancellations to climb into second place in Division Two, beating local opponents Northop 2nds by 76 runs.
Matthew Williams (44) and Maelor Thomas (48) were the main run scorers as Halkyn posted 165-7 from their alloted 45 overs.
The bowling was equally impressive with Graeme Settle securing 4-15, John Gaskell claiming 2-24, and Simon Penney finishing with 2-26.

in yesterdays paper, not online yet, it said, Bangor will have to stop the in-form Graeme Settle from ripping through their batting order(4-15) if they are to stand any chance of victory!
