I've been eyeing up a job lot on an auction site, but I can't find out how much one pack should cost.

Is there a cheaper way of buying them?

Help anyone?

Thanks.

I bought 50 packs for £22 this week, came yesterday (big kid lol)

For some reason i want to start collecting them. Would waste too much money on them though.

The only one I ever attempted was the Merlin Premier League 94 collection.
I wasn't even a football fan but it was astonishingly popular at school and made you feel part of something.

I stumbled across it in a box the other day, quite proud I completed it despite the fact I missed out on most of my school lunches to pay for them.

Not much of a saving buying in bulk then.

Must be somewhere doing them cheaper than that. £30 for 100 and I'd be there.

I'll have a look around. Shops must be getting them in cheaper than that to make any sort of profit on them.

Was that the one with the black cover?? that was awesome. The only one i really attempted to finish. I nearly filled it, but i refused to pay for any. I got most of the ones i needed by pulling out my big......

pile of swaps.

I had a look round - 100 for £39.99 was the cheapest.

There is a shop selling them online for cheaper (wholesale), but it was a £60 min order so I didnt pursue any further. May be worth it if a few of you are after a load !!!

Just out of interest, does anyone know how much one of these books would cost to fill - if you miraculously bought the stickers and had no swaps whatsoever ?

well there are about 750 or so stickers to collect, with each pack yeilding 5 or 6 if you are lucky.

So lets say 5.5 stickers per pack

750/5.5 = 137 pack rounded up

supermarkets selling at 50p = 68.50 + about £2 for the book

Call it £70, but more than likely have to spend at least double to get a number of decent swaps.

750 stickers to collect?!!?!? Jesus!

There's no wonder they can afford to give the albums away for free!

Can you not get the stickets at the cash and carry?. Bookers may be cheaper. Ill try and find out. Ive been tempted to ge the stickers but have been put off by the cost. Asda had 6 packs for £2.75 I think and if you purchased 2 of these it works out at £5

My boy is a week old !!!

Was thinking of buying these, filling them up and keeping them for him in perfect condition until he's older.

Do full ones make anything at auction (i'm guessing not!) :whistling:
