My wife phoned her favourite chinese- placed an order for us- breast of chicken curry (chopped), portion of fried rice, portion of chips plus a portion of prawn crackers and it arrived in FOURTEEN MINUTES. I checked Google maps and it takes seven minutes to drive the journey, but it tasted brilliant - so it wasn't re - heats . is this a world record? it must be a british record at least!

lol, I'm tempted to order one for delivery just to take the mick as its quicker to walk than it is to unlock the car, strap in get the car started and do it in reverse at the other end. I'd love to know whether they deliver on foot or by car, as the crow flies its about 50 yards!

ive had similar from my local thai booked through hungryhouse, couldnt believe it when the phone rang 15 mins later and he was outside........was expecting it to be confirmation of the order.

Nearly if not all Chinese food is re-heated mate.

It would take longer if cooked from fresh.

Have you ever seen a proper chinese chef cook? Chinese cooking is really fast I went to a restaraunt and watched them prep all sorts and cook meals whilst abroad from fresh.

Does not suprise me if they were quick, it's an amazingly fast way to cook.

I know it is, cause the Wok is incredibly hot.

Just saying as I've inspected hundreds of Chinese places and they all pre-prepare their meat.

Yup, you can tell if it's been microwaved or not I never use them always go to the ones where you can hear the sizzle and wok.

All they're doing is re-frying previously cooked meat.

Well done you.

You must have one of the few that doesn't pre-cook - not only that but great eye-sight - no need for Specsavers here.:-D
