I would agree with your mate, we had a phone call at 10.30pm about blood tests last year. They called because there was something wrong with them and they told us straight away

If it has been this long already then I would not worry, its just paperwork, getting the information from one place to another before that person can tell you

Hi hun, try not to worry. I had some done for my babba two months ago and my Doctor phoned me 4 hours later as there was a problem! It's all ok now but just goes to show how quickly they can get results! When are you due?

As above hun, try not to worry too much because if there is anything wrong they would have got in touch with you sooner I think :) Dont stress too much or you'll upset baby :)

You're worrying needlessly. Remember, the NHS will be sending these samples back and forth using the Royal Mail, and they're suffering strike action at the moment. Give it a few days, and relax until then.

Is this your first? I'm due my first in December and spent the first four months worring about everything and not enjoying just being pregnant. Really try not to worry, it will be better for the baby as well. Feel free to ask me anything you're worried about and I will be more than happy to share my experiences and maybe help ease your mind. X.

Well if it anything like our local authority then half of the lab staff have decided they have swine flu and are sunning themselves in the garden. So they are running behind. They even had people come in on sat morning for overtime and that happens about as often as we win the ashes!

no its my 6th lol
i have lost one very early on and i had to go for daily blood tests to make sure hcg levels were falling as they were concerned about it being eptopic
but i have also lost one at 21 weeks due to an infection in my waters

i have worked with some people with hepatitus b and i didnt have the injection against it so that has been in the back of my mind

will phone them on thurs to see if they are back yet

My doc called me when my bloods results were bad, I was shopping at the time but he was really good and told me to come straight in, so if anything is wrong they let you know immediatly. I was told that normal results come back by post but abnormal results are emailed or telephoned thru. I had my blood taken on a Friday and he called on the Tues, and said the lab had contacted him to tell him how bad it was.
If your MW knows your history I am sure she will keep checking and let you know as soon as she sees them just to put our mind at rest. When i got pregnant after a miscarriage I was just as bad but my MW was great knowing how bad I was, she even arranged an early scan to reassure me.

Good luck:)

That was supposed to reassure you, the fact that mine was taken on Friday then because they had bad results they called me Tues makes me think that yours are prob ok or they would have called you today. :)

Awwwww try not to worry, its always stressful waiting for results.
They may have a backlog or problem with their tesing machinery :)

or the OP may just be irrational and have no reason whatsoever to worry!
