I've recently took out a phone contract with o2 purely because it's the only signal i can pick up in my home but if i was to write all the problems i've had so far with wrong bills, PAC codes, wrong absolutely everything then i'd be here all night. I estimate i have spoke to customer services approx 100 times (that includes being passed from 1 cowboy to the next until i eventually hang up)

be as well just going to the nearest field and employing a dozen sheep .

is there any other company that has worse customer service?

Worst or no customer service Play.com, zavvi-ebay,dabs, btshop. zavvi-ebay do not have a customer service, so if you buy hit or miss

Orange - Had a faulty handset and I needed a replacement. I wasgetting passed around person to person at Indian call centre who each tried by patience by telling me to try steps such as rebooting/factory resetting. Matter was resolved literally within 3 minutes of speaking to a UK based representative once I finally got to speak to one.

Orange without a shadow of a doubt have categorically THE WORST customer service EVER. 7 handsets on a business contract which is 24months and we have yet to have a phone that lasts more than a month, currently got iPhone 3GS and not one phone has signal, ever. Its the network, shocking. And they don't fo a think about anything unless u chase them constantly. Failing orange, the CSA are Deffo up there for shocking service.

phones4u.... 6 hours, 4 calls and a bit of shouting to get a refund on a faulty phone.

Bought a phone, first one battery wouldn't charge so replaced phoner, second one got a software glitch where it wouldn't send texts. They tried to replace phone (same one with software glitch). After 6 calls to their head office and a bit of an argument instore I got my refund and bought another phone from Argos.

What they didn't know, 2 weeks later my contract was up for renewal and I went to carphone warehouse instead.

Any company that has you in a new / fresh contract as they know you can't walk so easily, except PAYG where you can go when you like. In my experience has to Orange absolutely a bunch of inept morons, from top to bottom.

Agree with above HMRC and any other state / public department, they know that you have no other option than to deal with them and at their convenience

They've been all right with me on a vacuum cleaner that needs replacing, saying that I have yet to receive a replacement yet, however a TV accessory and they have been a bunch of *&*^&^%&s.

BT! Had so many problems over the Years with various things. We are moving to another provider now. I'm sick of speaking to them and having to explain things over and over again! Do they not communicate with other depts?! For a " communications company" they are a joke.

all i've been trying to do is get my warranty registered for my tv, we finally got a call from someone higher up at samsung they've had so many problems with their call centre in India they're bringing it back to the uk, so they've stopped training the staff out there which has made the service 10 times worse!

COMET . Since the long painful saga of my stolen computer that they guaranteed was data secure I wouldn't set foot in the store. The replacement computer had the same fault as the first. I loathe them.

and the people saying sky your doing something wrong , everytime ive had a problem , i just threaten to leave and i usually end up with 6 months half price or free hd , i haven't paid full price for sky for over 2 years

Recently I had surprisingly poor service from Apple, the man was rude, really rude, put me on hold for over half an hour, told me he was going to put me on hold for an indefinite period of time so I asked for a call back. I was promised a call back but never received one.
But my worst customer service award goes to Debenhams online, hands down, the number of returns I have had to fight for a refund as they were 'lost' or the person 'forgot to press the refund button' or incorrect refunds, orders not fulfilled, orders lost in transit but never received by the courier in the first place, calls promised but never made, managers being rude, I have had issues with 80% of my orders with them recently...I now only use them if it is a masssive bargain i can't resist.

I had a great service from Sky recently, the lady on the phone was great (and it was a UK call centre which was a nice change), and the chap they sent round to fix my box was fantastic, he even left his personal number in case there are any further issues.
It's luck of the draw really.

O2 call centers for me as well.

I have a O2 contract but will only deal with them in a shop (so I can walk out if I'm not happy) upgrading with them online was a complete nightmare.
