id say 8/10 xl eggs i buy have a double yolk

love it,. 1 yolk for each end of my bacon n egg baguette

Most double yoked eggs will not hatch because there will not be enough space in the egg for the chicks to grow. When this does happen the chicks commonly die because they haven’t developed enough to live outside of the egg. Siamese chicks could happen but that would be rarer then regular twin chicks. Plus I highly doubt that siamese chicks would even be able to peck out of their shell and survive for any extended period of time.

Awwwww thanks bitseylango, but the arguing still continues, DD is insistent they will be twins. Bless her, she's 14, olld enough to listen to reason.

We once had a 6 pack of large eggs and all of them were double yolks, i was like wttffff

I think they would be identical twins if they were to hatch... if the mother hen were to lay 2 eggs at the same time then they would be twins..:-D
