Would you send a £400 phone on HotUKDeals on Trust
Hi
I had a choice of selling my new Galaxy note Smart Phone on here or eBay
But everyone on here wanted me to sent the phone first.
The question is would you trust sending a £400 phone on here then wait for payment or would you choose eBay to safe guard yourself.

Where did the 'no comeback' come in to it?

If you follow the rules you're taking less of a risk, but a risk regardless

I don't care what feedback you have on here, you can easily set up a new account and run off with my phone :)
However, whilst you can always try to cover yourself by getting address, landlines etc, there is a chance it could go wrong.
Local pickup is one way round it. If you are not happy with a proposed deal, do not do it. But if you do not trust someone with say 100+ feedback, there is no way they would trust someone with a few/zero feedback.

Sassie's point is that you expect someone to send you £400. You could easily run off with their money.

Several members have managed to sort things out when a trade goes wrong, by either getting the item or a refund. Depending on how much effort you put in before/after the deal, there is always comeback.

Sounds more like hassle to meoO
Appreciate it works both ways but in this climate, a highfeedback user could have gained high feedback from penny sweets
Ended up selling at work - the twist is my eBay feedback is in the thousands but then theres the fees
