Iam looking to trade in my Honda VT750DC Shadow,

Its on a 54 plate with just over 6000 miles on the clock. It has a sisy bar and screen fitted.

I have also had a set of Vance & Hines exhausts fitted (also have the originals) and a set of leather panniers.

Anyway i am looking for something with a bit more performance, I have been offered a straight swap for a Kawasaki Z750 on an 06 plate with over 13k on the clock. This is marked up at £3495. I think I should be getting some extras thrown in or some money back but would just like some feedback from someone on here.

If you need any more info on my bike let me know. Thanks in advance.

It's a sad fact, that Japanese Customs don't sell that well (the smaller ones are quite poular with the ladies). The Z750 is on the other hand a popular bike. Given that, I would say it's not a bad deal. I guess at the end of the day, you have to decide if it is a good deal for you?

I cant decide if its a good deal or not, also been looking at a speed triple. Its on a T plate (99) with 20k on the clock. Its priced at £2750 so would look at trading mine in and geting some money back from the dealer but again not too sure, with the age of the speed triple, not too sure about triumph reliability, not sure if good or bad :?

As long as it's been serviced the Triumph should be fine. The only thing that would put me off, is the styling. But that's down to personal taste...:)
