Reckon I would give it a go, we rent and are struggling to get on the property ladder, I waste my money on the rip off lottery so why not have a go at this.

Its not easy is it. Luckily I purchased my 1st house in 2001 before the prices went through the roof. We would really struggle now if we were 1st time buyers

lol you can have a ticket for the bargain price of £10 then lol

I suppose the higher the ticket prices the better the odds for the people who buy one, but if your were going to do it, it would need to be affordable to all.

i wouldnt waste a pound am i the only 1?
just another scamm

if you gonna raffke house must be a deadline and no matter how many tickets sold must be drawn otherwise its just another scamm they wont raffle it unless they get amount they want

why not just buy a lottery ticket, and a bigger better house somewhere nicer. (if you won)
#10
It would definitely be worth a punt.

I would have a flutter at 210,000/1 opposed to the lottery which is millions/1 of a chance.

If there were rules that the seller abides by would you not risk a £1 then lol Of course if you were raffling your house your not going to do it as a loss to yourself you would want to know you were getting the market value... have a heart lol

The aim would be only to sell as many tickets as the market value of the house and maybe cover any costs. Not to make anymore out of it lol

There was yes, someone as posted a link on first page.

I remember a few years ago my mom paid £5 for a ticket to win a house in the country I think it was national trust or someone that was running it. It was through either a magazine or newspaper

BTW she didnt win lol

Its also been done for a london penthouse or something like that, but the price was around £100 a ticket but the prize was about 1.5 million, it was something like that.

There are so many things to think about with this, although i do think its a great idea. Selling all the tickets will be the hard part and it all depends on where the house is and what state its in lol

It would be a great idea for a website that offered things that you wouldnt normally be able to buy for a £1 ticket and with a greater chance of winning. Again though selling all the tickets as fast as possible will be the hard part.

So many legalities I bet but the above would be great, I would spent £1 a week trying to win stuff
