I have quite a collection of pressies now to wrap up.

Have bought some shiny silver paper, a little black wrapping paper, giant silver bows and silver material ribbon...

Tags in the shapes of Santa, snowmen and reindeers for the kiddies, and shiny silver ones for the adults.

Will have to attack this job soon!

Have you all got your pressies wrapped up yet?

What is your favourite types of wrapping? xxx

I like rectangular presents, can get them wrapped really quickly! Give me 10 minutes and I can wrap a stack of dvds really well.

I am going to start wrapping next week.

We get all our wrapping paper/tags etc in the january sales so we have tons of the stuff! Use different paper for adults/kids and then each person in the house has a different wrapping paper too

That's such a good idea!

Pink pressies sounds lovely :)

I remember one year a present was found without a tag on... and my mother-in-law assumed it was for her

She opened it to find a "surprise" TOY ( cough ) from my ex-husband to me...........

He never wrapped any presents after that!

have always done it that way, my tree is also decorated pink and silver too, gawd im such a saddo - lol

also have to make sure son never spots the paper i wrap up the stocking stuff in, as thats from santa, so once done any spare has to go straight in bin incase he finds it - lol

pressies have to be hiodden till hes in bed, as although he knows we buy them, he thinks santa brings them when he drops off their sacks

I spend HOURS wrapping the pressies sooo precisely they're done to perfection...

Yet the kids Dad can wrap SO quickly and I dont really think the kids mind HOW they're wrapped

I think I'm gonna be less precious about it this year!!

ide disagree, my two have always loved the way pressies are wrapped, they never just grab the next, always route under the tree for the next one and go for what they like the look of

I have just had that much practise that I can get anything box shaped done really quickly and it looks good

Takes a lot longer with awkward shapes, but still manage to get them looking good. Usually leave those until last because "I only have 5 presents left to wrap" sounds good, even if those 5 will take you as long as it took to wrap ALL of the others!

Wrapped 3 shoeboxes last week for the shoebox appeal, 1 was fine as it was a normal 1, but the other 2 were the ones were the lid is connected on 1 side (didnt used to let you use them type but I emailed and they said they were fine). They took about 20 minutes each, ended up making a template on the wrapping paper with pencil and ruler and then cutting it out and attaching to the box. Looked really good when I finished though.

same as mine, little guy usually gives it a shake too, he's usually the one sat next to tree feeling and shaking them all, they take it in turns to go under and pull one out, and guessing whats in it after a feel and a shake - lol

To see if it can be heat damaged :w00t:
