I want one so i can download movies etc...

I cant seem to get good speeds with torrents and with rapdishare i get speeds around 250kb.

i know that seems pathetic to some but i live in a village and thats the normal speed most folk get.
#4
isnt it about £8 for an account?
#5

I know as with the £ being so low it is roughly £55!! :x I need one myself, but I would just buy one as if you get one on someone else they may change the login details and you will loose out as will originally be registered to them!!

Yeah...its bloody expensive...but worth it i suppose

If I was you, I'd just buy one. Think of the amount of movies and other downloads you'll get. It wouldn't be viable to share with someone because with Rapidshare you get an amount in GB per day and you wouldn't be able to know if the share was equal.

Yes, but that's not the real problem.

The real problem is that since of about last month you are no longer allowed to share RS accounts. I've done it believe me, they will ban the account.. If they didn't i would have shared mine,

I thought upto 3 people/ip addresses could share?
#13

Hitnews.eu - €2.95 a month for 2.5mb connection, or €26.95 for a year.

For anything else, Google is your friend.

Not anymore, hitnews doesnt allow people from the uk to sign up anymore, you have to use a more expensive service which they redirect you to.
#27
why not try giganews?

maxes out my connection 99% of the time at around 660k/s

i would always use usenet first due to the sheer volume of content that is, quite simply, unbeatable

Wrong again, They cut back a lot of the UK customers but I know at least 6 people plus myself, all in the UK using it and have been for a few years now.

How am i wrong? and again?

Try and register on hitnewz and it will take you to a new website. I have used it myself but went back to rapidshare, but wanted to go back to hitnewz but forgot my account so went to sign up again. And you get taken to another website, try it yourself then say that im wrong.

Huh? I was at Hitnews.EU, what happened?

You’ve been redirected to this page because Hitnews.EU no longer supports international customers. We’d like to explain ourselves.

The reason is actually very simple and involves, as always, money. International traffic is very expensive. We didn’t realize this when we started but it turned out our international customers were actually costing us money.
So we had to do something about this. One option was to just block all international traffic and continue as a dutch provider. But we wanted to keep our loyal international customers satisfied so we set up the website you’re on right now: Xennews.Com.

There’s really no great way to say this so here goes: Yes, Xennews.Com is more expensive than Hitnews.EU. We still think we offer good value for money though. We’ve changed some things to make the service even better:

20 Connections
Xennews.com offers 20 connections for each account. This will improve the speed drastically for some users.

200 days retention
We’ve upped the retention. Because of the new pricing we are now able to invest in more retention and a better service. The new retention is set up and we will keep investing to make sure we can offer you the best.

Existing Hitnews.EU customers
If you have an active account at Hitnews.EU and you ended up here you can log in with your existing username and password at http://member.xennews.com/login.php. Your account has been transfered including any time you had left.
Please change the server from news.hitnews.eu into news.xennews.com.

We know that however we say this, it isn’t ideal for you. We can only ask for your understanding.

Best regards,
Xennews.Com Team
