BTW here is the email and shes asking me to send an invoice she can go **** herself.

Hi Seller,

I was just browsing through ebay to see
if i could get something so cute, nice, lovely and cheap
as a supposed Xmas present for a beloved friend who works with
a petroleum company in west Africa as an expertrate
while i am going on a nuclear inspection tour in North
Korea and i won't be coming back home till after january
and so i decide to buy him this particurlar gift .i was supposed to send him a christmas gift but due to the fact that i was very busy that is why i want to send him a belated xmas gift.
so i want to know if
the item is in its top condition as i dont want to buy
him a faulty item. I also want to ask if you can help
me send the item down to west Africa (Nigeria)on my
behalf as i am due to leave for Asia soon so wont be
able to receive the item here in the US.

Moreover,I'll find out the postage cost to my friends
address from UK and i'll duly include it with payment.

One last thing,i've been notify that my ebay account
was hijacked after i bought your item earlier today
and my account suspended.I have reported this to ebay
and they are currently working on restoring my
account.

pls find below the postage address:

Mr Yemi Song
14, Joel Dunmade Close
Itire, Surulere,
Lagos, 23401,
Nigeria.

Hope to read from you soonest.

Thanks

doesn't it need to be a few days before she hasn't paid though?

Report them to ebay, then send them a box with dogs**t in it.
#5
report it to ebay, youll get fees back.
#6
Oh this is bloody great

"You cannot report an Unpaid Item dispute for this item until after 17-Feb-2008."
#7
you do get them back eventually...just takes a bit of time, you can relist in the meantime though

We should have a worldwide boycott Ebay week! No selling,no buying. They have been ripping the pish for a while now,but it is getting beyond a joke, what with the new rules coming in etc. and don't get me started on PP. I have 10 guitars that I want to sell,so if we could maybe make it next month :whistling:

I've relisted now, I hope I can get my fee's back and I hope its a genuine buyer this time. I don't get why they allow 'private sellers'
this is her ebay: http://*************.co.uk/felicity1973

Indeed it is, especially if they have no dog. Clean them streets of the filthy muck! We'll not worry about the affects of unnecessary overseas mail...

Yeah, put in for an NPB anyway, nothing to lose, everything to gain ;-)

As to the worldwide option, revise your listing and look for something like 'countries I ship to', it's probably hidden away in a poxy java box. Select uk only. It's been so long since i've listed anything on there I can't really remember, but fwiw I got caught by that as well. Sold an Escort WRC spoiler on BIN, collection only and some french **** bought it and asked how much the postage was:roll: Had to relist, got my FVF back and sold it to some bird from up north. She was well happy with it, drove 200 miles to pick it up

Mate sold his PSP on ebay a few weeks back, got a "paypal" email through, he though it was legit so sent the psp. Few days on, he realised the email was fake and the address he sent to was a flat.

Ive always wanted to see a fake paypal email so go on upload the email

Dear Merchant,

Thank you for using Paypal for your online auctions. We at Paypal are ensuring that all our customers and auction site are fraud free.

In our efforts to secure our merchants, We are now recieving payments for items that are to be shipped internationally through our secure server. This is to ensure that the seller and buyer do their responsibility in every transaction we handle.

We have now resolved the buyers account issues and recieved payment from the buyer of your eBay Auction Listing . This payment is currently pending to be credited into your account due to the security measures we have taken. You are now required to ship out the item and send us the shipment reference number for verification of shipment. As soon as we have verified the shipment which normally takes about 5 minutes, your account will be credited with the full payment. This security methods have been taken due to fraudulent sellers on eBay , if you click the links below you will see an example of these sellers:

I never allow overseas bidders to bid for my auctions anymore for this reason, it's a shame that the Nigerians have ruined it for everyone else.

Go to prefs and click don't allow bidders with -1 or below negative feedback and don't allow bidders from overseas.

Imagine if you were actually a genuine Nigerian? :giggle:

has anyone actualyl ever checked out these kind of peoples adresses? id love to see what happens if u turned up there lol.

i've had some girls from the usa bought my camcorders and asked me to send to her husband in nigeria...
i asked her to pay first but never reply so it wasnt as sophisticated as you've got here (fake ebay/paypal email etc). As far as i remember i didnt pay any fees to ebay...

A question thou, im now sellin another stuff and ask bidder with less than 10 feedback to email me first... but still ive got someone with 3 feedback bidding.

Wat shud i do? wait til it finish and see whther he/she pay or just tell him/her to retract bid?

I would send them a question, if they reply and sound OK then let it ride, if they fail to reply or their comprehension of the English language is suspect then cancel their bid, we all have to start somewhere on Ebay so if we cancelled everyone's under 10 feedback it wouldn't be very successful.

You can cancel their bid if you want as they haven't abided by your t&c's
