you'll have a great time they are brilliant and the crowds over here are much more vocal than the american audiences.

I won tickets to SmackDown! at the NEC a couple of years ago, but I can confirm that signs are NOT given out (and as the SmackDown! was on a Tuesday, it was the TV Taping :-D)

I found out afterwards that they turned Cena's music up when they heard a few boos for him :giggle: and for some reason Carlito kept saying that we thought Charles & Camilla were cool... - I am privileged though to have been able to see the late, great, Eddie Guerrero wrestle - it was the tag team match with him and Rey (though Eddie did walk off, leaving Mysterio there, but still - that was obviously just the storyline, and I feel privileged nonetheless).

Paddy

Wrestling sucks now, I remember the good old days of big daddy and giant haystacks. No really WWE/WWF was better in the days of Bret Hart, Curt Henning, Davey Boy, etc. Still I only watch it for the divas now

Thanks paddy!

looks sold out for Earls Court :-(

I'll check out ebay

I'll check out ebay

I'm not surprised - that'll be the one on TV (as will the sold out SmackDown! the next night, though the SmackDown! is a taping that won't be shown until the Friday).

eBay will not be kind to you though loupomm, people will be flogging them at way above ticket value! (especially with it only being 6 days away)

Now I'm not saying that it's all real, but the whole point of it is that it is entertaining - and it definately is entertaining.

Admittedly the matches are indeed pre-determined etc., but they do feel a lot of real pain with many things that they do - just like you would hurt after falling off a high ladder, they do too.

Admittedly also there are occasions where they pretend they are in pain, but with the business comes a lot of risk - many wrestlers can (and do) get legitimately injured.

spoke too soon :-(

the seller is now protesting the price due to a listing error :-(

the title of the listing was: 4x WWE Smackdown Tickets, Earl's Court, BARGAIN PRICE!!

but he had 4 available, i emailed before asking:

is this price per ticket?

he replied: Hi there, well i thought i had set up the auction for all four in one go but it appears not.... however, the winning bid WILL receive all four tickets! Thanks

the auction finished at £48

he then sent me this:

hi there, due to my mistake, the tickets have been sold as individuals even though i am selling the 4 altogether. The total would be £192 plus p and p. I really am sorry about the confusion. There are 3 other bidders interested in this auction. let me know if you are still interested after the confusion. Apologies again, Sam

i cant afford that,

kids are gutted

How unfair, you should definitely consider laying the smackdown on that evil heart breaker :-(

Indeed - maybe it's worth contacting ebay and saying something to them about it?

As they would've had plenty of time to notice a mistake and rectify it, especially when you'd specifically asked the question.

I'd assume that as you won though, then they should have to send you all of them - however not being that familiar with ebay, I can't be sure.

I think I know what the fool did.:giggle:
What is the item number Lou?
[email protected]
#33
yes its clear what he did but my beef is that i spotted it and questioned it before i made my bid :-(

pm'd you the item no Dino :)

edit: by email, you in box is full here Dino :)
#34
i found 4 tickets from the same seller but are being sold in pairs as they are in seperate blocks, only £30 a pair, sucks eh lol
#35
I'm afraid the seller is an inexperienced fool. He messed up that auction big time. Looking at his 'new' auction he has sold two tickets from the auction you bid on and he has two left.
You will get no 'help' from ebay I'm afraid, the most they can/will do is issue him with a Non Performing Seller strike, this means nothing.
How many tickets is he willing to let you have? Have you told him you want four? I don't understand why he re-listed them so early.

I got given a set of tickets for a christmas pressie for next Tuesday at Earls court. Does anyone know if you are allowed to take cameras into these things?

Cheers

he offered me all 4 for £192 plus p and p, i dont intend to follow anything up now, i know it will get no where, i was just annoyed, especially as i asked before i placed the bid and got such a positive response

he knew before auction end that he had made the mistake as it says so in the above reply, still he sent it, i just feel let down :-(

thanks for looking tho :)
