Yes, its a very good site - beware though if your ordering stuff over £18 you may be hit w/ custom charges.

Yes i order i stuff from them, takes about 5 days or so to come from hong kong and the package is secure worth the wait.

The biggest problem and these is no fault to playasia you cant order a lot of ps3 stuff from them to ship to uk, this sony etc stopping them from shipping aboard

If it's 360 stuff you're after, try yesasia.com - possibly a little bit cheaper than playasia also free delivery and they can guarantee you no import vat as they ship to their own warehouse in the UK and then re-ship to you!

I've been using the playasia site to confirm if a game is region free then going to the yesasia site to buy!

There's also a couple of $5 off codes and 7% quidco too!

play-asia is okay but i got hit with custom charges second time round and it took the game 16 days to deliver then i had to end up paying £12 custom charge, which took my total of the game up to £36, it would of been easier/cheaper if i order from uk....

Yes ordering from play-asia or most over seas sights you have remember your limit your allowed import into Uk which is £18 pounds. Of course this rules out games like PS3 but then you cant buy PS3 games from play-asia to ship to uk due to the limitions placed on play-asia.

Most games from the site are set out in 24 hours which takes about 5 days some games do take longer and this is clearly displayed on the site if they need to order it in, which im assuming could of been one of these games thus why it may have take 16 days or its simply a problem with the postage service itself

That's correct, you need Pal games if you have a pal console. Some Xbox 360 games are region free, some aren't and all PS3 games are region free. Neither the PSP/DS have any region encoding.

Not bought much from Play-asia recently but never had any problem with them, always chosen the economy postage which has arrived within the week and without customs.

I've been using Movietyme a bit more as I've found their DS game prices particularly to be good although their dispatch times are somewhat unreliable as they don't tell you how much stock they have.

how times change when it comes to region coding, back in the day of Mega Drives and PC Engine (remember that machine?) Sega and the like went after anyone that tryed to sell imported machines or even mod them, (then again they still do today) all to protect the "middle man" so to speak.
