www.tescobox.com is so cheap - safe to shop?

I just came across the site http://www.tescobox.comhttp://www.tescobox.com and its unbelievably cheap...
e.g. http://www.tescobox.com/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51J185343&rnd=9819475&rrc=N&affl=&cip=80.235.137.199&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=Intel+Core+2+Duo+E6600+Dual+Core+Processor&cat=&catstr= core2 duo e6600 for the equivalent of £115 whereas usually they are £215.

However, has anyone heard of this site? It is on froogle and everything they sell seems to be 1/2 the price of the next cheapest shop.

I am a bit weary as they only take money order and check (not credit card), have a mobile phone number as a contact phone number and have lots of spelling errors on their site... Also they have a minimum order value of 500 Euros. However, it is a large site with a lot of products - would someone go this far to con people?

Could any of you guys help me out? I am thinking of buying a new PC system, so would make the 500Euro mark with ease, but am very worried that i will be conned!

Thanks!

Looks like a big red flag not a good idea no. Just the name alone will result in their folding.

But they claim to have been around for 15 years?
The prices seem so good - they even appear on Froogle...

But you are probably right - it seems too good to be true...

This x1900 All in wonder is wayyyy to cheap, like by about 3 times.

The website seems so legit... but that is probably what they want you to think before suckering you out of your 500 Euros

UK based but prices in Euros? what's that all about
#4
if you google for tescobox you won't find many results...

Yeah - that worried me too. I think we can safely say its a con then?

Doesn't look legit at all to me. In fact if you look at the whois it's been around for all of 6 days:

This is a scam pure and simple. I hate to use such strong words but anyone who orders from this site would have to be an idiot. Sorry but true.

Please don't post this again qpan. I just removed the thread from the Hot Deals forum. It is a scam let's not keep posting it.

If ever you're in doubt simply don't bother, and remember the golden rule: If it's sounds too good to be true - then it probably is!
