The X Factor winner's single revealed
And it might be familiar to Joe...

The X Factor Christmas single has been selected, and there's plenty of controversy over it already. Last year Simon Cowell was criticised for picking Hallelujah after Diana Vickers had already sung it at boot camp - and this year he's about to do the same. According to The Sun, Mr Cowell has apparently chosen Journeys 1981 hit, Dont Stop Believin which Joe McElderry sang during Rock Week. After Joe had sang it, the original version made it into the Top 20. Simon's second choice is said to be The Climb , from the film Hannah Montana

Anyone reckon it's fixed for Joe to win?

Whoever simon wants to win - will win.

Going to be tight this year I think between Joe, Danyl and Stacey.

Would be interesting to see the voting figures for the past couple of weeks.

If it's fixed for Joe to win to sing 'his song', then why did Diana lose last year when 'her song' was the winners song, eventually sung of course by Alex

How can it be fixed as it's public voting al the way now, unless they tell porkies with the results.

just creating a discussion as to whether it's fixed or not :whistling:
last year was definitely fixed by having alex sing with beyonce & jls having westlife :x
i want danyl to win as he's the best :) & i think joe would be better on stage in the west end than being a big recording artist :whistling:

As executive producer, there is no way in hell Simon Cowell isn't informed of the voting the previous week. Meaning he knows who is getting what percentage of the votes - so the ball is in his court and we're all playing it. He can then just chose whoever will make him the most money - either via more people voting or keeping in an act he can manage to success.

'Tis fun though!

i think none of them have a chance at a recording career

Err, so they give the solo black singer the solo black singer, and they give the boy band the massive boy band. What's the problem?
