For anyone who was still wondering I have now successfully managed to download a game (Jurassic Park) from the American Xbox marketplace. The game has downloaded and works fine on my Xbox one through backward comparability. :D

I achieved it through first migrating my Xbox account to the USA and then using Vper VPN on my android device to purchase from the American marketplace using a Revolut card.

Seems a tad OTT. I was on the understanding you could only migrate every six months or so?

I believe it's every 3 months Buzz. Did it more as a proof of concept. I wanted to see if games purchased on foreign stores for Xbox 360 would work through backward comparability on an Xbox one in the Uk.

Well I've heard there's a 99% off sale on 360 titles on the UK store next week :p

(That may, or may not be true)

You don't need to migrate your account to the US to do this.
Just use a VPN and sign-in to the US (or whichever country you choose) market place website and purchase the games you want.
They'll then appear in your UK account immediately.

Unfortunately that's true for Xbox one but not the 360 marketplace. Believe me when I say I exhausted every possibility before I could get it to work :P.

Is the game any good?

Its very similar to other telltale games if you've ever played them. More of an interactive story than an actual game but I enjoy them :). Very easy to pick up and put down.
