Hope so, it looks good. Have you watched the demo video and interview for Race Pro? The concept is pretty simple...Race! lol..thats what the guy said on the video....theres no frills or fancy in depth customisations apparently like some of the other racer games but the idea is pretty much in line with arcade games (not xbla arcade games, the old arcade style) where you just pick a car...and accelerate, brake and compete to win!...I'm looking forward to it....but I'd prefer to play a demo first :)

There was supposed to be one out before Christmas... Then by the end of January... Now you'll be lucky if it's out before the game is released on Friday.

Edit: There don't seem to be enough cars with the released game & they're already planning car & map DLC that'll no doubt cost a fair few MS points.

Just realised the game has been delayed again and is due on the 20th.

Looks a bit basic to me tbh. No customization etc. If you're going to make a real racing sim, Id like the option to fiddle with tuning set-ups, aero, tires, gear ratios etc etc.

Not holding out much hope for this one tbh.

I agree. This is possibly the reason why the demo isnt happening, I cant see people paying £30-£40 for a game like this when they can get GRID for half that price and is already has established itself as an excellent driving game.

Give it a month or 2, maybe sooner and this will be down to less than £20....

I think that's why we all want the demo so we can decide whther to buy or not. Unfortunately it could be a sign that they don't think people will buy it based on the demo.

^^^ Grid's an abomination ^^^ :?

Ive yet to play one of these 'sim' games that tops GT4 or FM2. GRID came close but was a bit arcadey I found.

Greatest racing game for me was PGR3. It was competetive racing with great cars and no custmisation which was better for racing. It wasnt about who had the better car it was about who was the better racer. I am confident that on forza2 with my cars i will beast anyone simply because my cars are better. Lets hope race pro relys on driving rather than the better car.

Depends if you like Arcade or SIM. Personally i prefer SIM and found FM2 awesome, didnt like PGR or GT although they looked great. GRID was wierd, it had arcadey driving with realism damage, bit strange but worked i guess. Race Pro looked good up until about 2 months ago, everything has gone up in smoke since then, and the demo hasnt even been released (nor will it) before it is actualy released. Hopefully a decent new racing game is out soon, but unfortunetly this game might just fail the cut

I read the review for Race Pro in this month's 360 Gamer. They said that although there arent any visual customisation options the cars have a number of options that can be changed from standard. They said it will be good for the hardcore racers and not so good for the casual. :thumbsup:

Shopto.net have it priced at £29.99 but they have stopped taking pre-orders at the moment:

Shopto :: RacePro

I hope the demo comes soonish :)

Think I'll wait for it to hit £20 - looks like it won't be a great seller at full RRP and the graphics appear to be sub Forza :?

I played an early version of this in september last year and it was great then so with all the extra tinkering time im sure it is going to be even better. Game has been made to make the most of the steering wheel and pedals so if you have them and like real racing games then it will be a must buy :D
