Im currently running my xbox 360 off my toshiba 26" telivision. It is not h/d or lcd. What i want to know is , can i get my picture to look sharper and be clearer and show better graphics? Is it something to do with my TV settings or would i need a high grade cable to improve picture quality?

you'll probably get better results plugging it into a PC monitor. That's what I do :)

I got my 19" LG brand new for £99

I have to squint to read text on my 32" CRT damn stupid that they only designed the games for HD

Yeahh it's real hard to read text on it, like it says press (??) but i have no idea what it's telling me to press. Get's on my nerves!

used you can get a 19" for like £75 , even cheaper in some cases.

this is a good 22" for cheap and it has speakers on for £109.94

Check that you are plugged into a RGB scart on your TV .This is usually the number 1 scart,

Plenty of widescreen lcd monitors around, I used to use a 19" Acer. Just make sure it has a VGA/D-sub connector as some are coming out with only DVI.

You will need to buy the official MS Xbox VGA cable and change settings in the 360 for the new picture. Unless the monitor has speakers you may also need to pick up some PC speakers.

I used to have it set up on a desk with the monitor and a set of speakers. The desk was from Ikea and was really thin almost like a shelf on legs and allowed me to sit right up to the monitor making it a pretty big screen.

Ended up buying an ixos cable off bazz on here. Paid £11 for it , if it doesn't improve it then i'll deffo try sort out a new tv or tft monitor:)

Bought a tft monitor so im just gunna use that now thanks for all the help:thumbsup:
