have already told you dude, no if you are not bothered about it logging to the Nand chip that the DVD drive was not plugged in when the 360 was on, you could get a week or even another 2 years before you get banned.

so up to you ennit, what pee's me off is the time i take helping people on here for them to just ignore it. on your own dude.

laters.

Chill it mate, I really appreciated your help, I was just told about stealthy games, so what I mean to ask is will the stealthy games protect me and what about disconnecting my console from live?

Sorry mate really appreciated your help have some rep.

What's the point of flashing your 360 if you're not going to play online, just accept the fact that at any time Microsoft could ban the console. If you can't then don't modify your console.

So you play the games offline without forking out £20+ per game.
Not everyone wants to play online.

the latest firmware will only allow the use of fully stealthed games, (though it cant check where or which games those "stealth files" came from), so you should only play/burn/use games that have been verified by ABGX online to have the Correct stealth files for that game.

but yes, in some sense i'd have to agree with abomination, You can only follow every exact procedure as peace of mind, MS may change their detection techniques, bann a load of people but a few days later new modded firmware will be out to counter it for another year or so..

so it's really a toss up dude, fact is, a banned console has a retail of only £20 less than a non banned one, so if you ever do get banned, just sell it and buy another then modd that.. rince and repeat.... the money you save will always outweigh the need to replace a banned console.

My 360 is flashed and I don't play online.

I haven't connected my xbox to my router for months.. there is no need when I only play single player games but i'd rather spend 70p-£1 on a dual layer disc than £30-40 on a game.

Fair enough (^offline).

I find the online aspect of the 360 very important, not just multiplayer games but simply chatting with friends etcetera.

To date I haven't had either of my consoles banned, my first has been online for well over two years now.

same as all dude, a VIA 6421A SATA PCI card, or an nVidia or VIA SATA chipset on your on your motherboard.

Then its just plug in your hitachi and use Jungleflasher (or similar) 1.51 is latest for hitachi's at moment i think..

oh alright cool. do i need a high spec pc for this or will my pentium 4 with 512mb ram do the trick?

I've had no problem flashing both Hitachi and Lite-On drives with my Dell's native Intel chipset.

(YMMV)

Then you will be the first to have ever flashed a drive with an intel chipset dude, get model numbers off the actual chips and release it to the community.
