Could be something to do with the Hz of the tv. I think its something like a choice of 50 or 60 and chosing the wrong one will make ur tv black and white.

yep tried but still black & white

Are you using Component Cables? If so, it sounds like you've got a couple of them plugged in the wrong place...

Dont know much bout 360's but sounds like for some reason it is outputting a NTSC signal rather than PAL thus causing black and white! is there an option on either your TV or Console to alter this?
#7
thank but none have worked

have a look at your console or tv settings, a little more info would help us diagnose your problem a bit better like for example what cable are you using to connect your console to your tv
#9
how are you connecting it to the TV? aux cables, scart, hdmi, or the other 5 cable hd thing?

mine was in black and white when i connected the AUX cables to the PBR connections (think thats what they're called)

it could be the GPU, as the 3red lights are generally GPU related, and therefore the repair service may not have known what they were doing... if you have a friend with a 360 setup, take yours along and plug it in using all of his components but your xbox and that should give you an idea of if the problem is the xbox or the components...

I don't think it's the GPU, check the console serial number, I think there's a slight possibility that they have sent an ntsc console back to you.
