Have just received my xbox 360 and HD DVD player. I have a DVI input on the back of the TV and have recently bought the leads, after attaching the leads I cant seem to get a picture. Please can you help.

On the lead that connects to the X Box (the one with the 6 different cables coming from it) look on the plug and make sure you set it to HD

I have these from Amazon but there is no switch on them?:?

Can't seem to see the 2nd link for some reason?

The one i have got is similar to this (and over half the price you paid :roll:):

If you look at the 1st photo on the 2nd row it shows you the plug that goes into the Xbox on it there is a switch that goes between TV and HD. Other than that have you tried switching through the AV channels and settings on your TV?

I suspect the TV does not accept analogue on the DVI input which is what a vga connector will do and the adapter which i suspect is missing from the second link will not be enough, no vga connector on the TV?
don't know the xboxs that well but look in the setup to see if its possible to set output at a digital standard such as 720p that may cause the output to switch to digital

not yet, i have got the leads for the hd but cant get a picture form the xbox, did you send it through Royal Mail recorded?

The vga cable doesnt have a switch for hd.
