Xbox 360 Just died is this the end??

My son was playing on his 360 earlier and then it just stopped working, turned off, no red lights or anything and it wont turn back on again? This the end of it?

Are you sure it's not the fuse in the plug ? If you are not getting any signs of 'life' this could be the case !

Yeah its within warranty, bought it from someone on here, who bought it about April time so thats not a problem......will check fuse well get hubby to when back from shop, its got a game in it as well and cant turn it on to get it out - only bought it yesterday the game as well!!

sounds stupid but please check all the connections at the back, my son had the same problem and the OH rang microsoft, he was on the phone going through all the motions for 45 mins before I noticed the main connection had come out the back of the console:oops:

Yup one of the first things i did, i pulled them out and put them back in about 3 times hoping and praying it will work :) , im the same tho sometimes miss the simple things!

Oh and before more pm's come in, im not selling it i will get it replaced!! Im just wanting to make sure there is nothing i can do first to get it going!!

It is probably a fuse/connection problem.
Is there an led on the adapter and what colour is it?

Ok i didnt check ALL the connections :oops::whistling: the connection from power brick had come out DOH!!!!!!!!

Yeah its working fine now, complete prize plonker i am, normally i check everything but forgot about power brick side of it lol

I had a PS3 and traded it in! I quite like the 360 tbh, kinda prefer it in its own little way...although PS3 is ace.

I was just about to suggest that lol .... not even finished reading this thread fully

always check the power bricks lights aswell :thumbsup:
