the other week my 360 has been really noisy from when i turn it on and it will freeze after about 10 minutes sometimes, but recentley it freezes more often now and the fan is alot louder, also the cd drive isn't ejecting properley, i have to fiddle with it to open it as when i push the eject button it will just pop out a tiny bit and then go back in after about 2 seconds, has any of this happened to anyone else? i have emailed xbox and waiting for a reply, should i send it into them? if i do will they fix it for me?

If its still under warranty they will fix it for you.

Actually, microsoft will only repair it if it is an RROD problem (Red Ring Of Death), any other cases they wont fix unless you pay... My Xbox is having alot of problems, (The ROM drive wont rev up so it only recognizes my discs as DVD's), at the moment, so I'm just waiting for it to 'Red Light' so i can send it back to microsoft...

if you still have Warranty from the place you bought it from, they will replace it for you...

yeah and that will give him 2 red lights (2 red lights = overheating) and not 3 that he needs.

I suggest you just tell them youve had it. Or if u REALLY want to....

Turn it on at the front and whilst its on turn it off at the mains and it will show 3 red lights for a split second. lol.

If you keep it wrapped up it overheats (2 lights) and then completely dies which will give you the much needed RROD. It's the easiest way to kill them off. (second to just playing it off course  )
