Dont no it in the first place :)

If you flash then play a 'backup' you will most likely get 'flagged' which will resut in a ban further down the line regardless of firmware.

This answers your question, ignore the other lame comments..

no you cant

If, however, you have avoided being flagged then flashing back to original firmware is the safest current option (some speculate about what is stored in the NAND memory and if MS can read it remotely).

I think they can, i have heard rumors ;-) if you play a copied game on a modded 360 and save the game, then move the hard drive to a another unmodded console with the same game to play multi player they can still tell the save game was made on a modded console.

just to clarify this might happen to someone if you get a copied game when it first comes out at £50 and then unlock characters\ cars \ items, then buy the game after the game has been out a while and has got cheaper they will still know

So can I take the hard drive from an xbox that has been modded and use it on an unmodded one with no repurcussions?

If the console is un modded then there will be no repercussions., lots of people do it, have one online for multiplayer and one offline for backups and achievements.

Hence speculation.

I would take it more seriously but the same people who claim that every backup online or offline is logged in the NAND were largely the same people that would swear blind that stealth firmware was undetectable and your were an idiot if you claimed otherwise - until this month anyway.
