  I'd say you'd have less hassle if you picked up a cheap vga monitor, plus the screen size would be a lot bigger than a netbook!
  
  But my previous advice stands...although SWMBO might prefer to watch her TV programs on that then ;-)

  Im just looking for better solutions than what u gave as input as id rather it was thru vga than usb or i can just buy a video card and do it that way ,,, so have u actually done it then ?

  some of the cards r thru usb then vga input so you can do it thru vga :)

  Kev, dxc gave you the most direct answer - You can use a PVR or the like, but gaming is unplayable due to the second or so delay.
  
  The simple answer is it is not worth the hassle... But good luck regardless. Feel free to let us know how you get on and hopefully prove us wrong.
  
  Easiest thing to do is purchase a cheap monitor or tv and play it that way... If you have a desktop pc, use that monitor!
