As title states only recently my screen when playing the xbox 360 has started to turn yellow and it sometimes flickers back to normal.

Any ideas what I can try?

I have tried puling out the different leads at the back of the TV and the only thing which changes the picture is the blue component lead (seems to remove all the yellow from the picture).

Its pluged into a Samsung 32" BDX model never had an issue until now.

Could it be a faulty lead or something more serious?

Why are you talking about SCART leads? Maybe spend a minute next time and read the whole post? The OP's using component leads!

To the OP:

1. Have you anything else that uses component which you can connect in place, just to test the TV?
2. Have you tried the composite lead (yellow end of HD cable) instead, either by directly connecting it to the TV or via the SCART adaptor?
3. Has the HD cable suffered any undue stress or damage recently?
4. Have you tried switching from TV to HD (and back) via the switch on the 360 part of the AV lead?
5. If you're saying the blue end is making a difference, does the picture change if you move this cable around while it's connected (see if there's a break in the cable)?
6. Can you borrow another AV HD cable from someone and try it instead?

Let me know these answers and we'll go from there.

Nope

Nope

Cant see a break - if i unplug it seems to remove the yellow in the picture totaly even the Y buton on the dashboard has no colour.

Tomorrow or sometime soon im taking it to a mates to check my cable and xbox.

Let me know these answers and we'll go from there.

Def not looking good!

Because you're out of your 12 month warranty, I'd advise keep using it as much as possible as it may not be that far away from the 3 Red Lights (RRoD) - this problem carries a separate 3 year warranty and won't cost you a bean to get it repaired.

I cant play it when yellow. To think it may be 15 months maximum really pi$$es me off.

Microsoft at its best I guess - I shuda stuck with the Sony fanboy group of which I used to be!
