yeh i kinda had a few confused issues with them, i just rang up and they said i'll sort it for you, picked it up next day. It's on my way back today, (Picked up last Thursday)

just box it up. Put labels on box

Arrange pick up VIA ups.com for your xbox

Sit back and wait for your xbox

Simon,

Happened to me at weekend. After registering with Microsoft i contacted UPS today who arranged to pick it up from my work tomorrow. All i have to do is remove hard drive, put it in a box and put on label.

About 20 days later i should have a replacement. Just hope it is that simple. Just bought UFC so wait will be agonising.

Good luck with yours.

yep spot on UPS came to my work as well - wouldnt worry about wrapping it up to well - you dont get your own console back - i sent my well looked after one away and got a heap of crap back - waiting for it to blow up - it definitely sounds like it is going to!

but took around 2 and a half weeks

What's the best type of box to use , so UPS will come to your place to collect?

You get box back so i am just putting it in the original xbox one. UPS were brilliant. Were going to collect it today if i wanted but i was at work without it. Really really easy.

My xbox had the RROD just 2 weeks a go, so I registered the fault online, they emailed me the shipping labels, I range up and arranged collection for the Tuesday. It went to Germany. Then exactly 1 week later ( last tuesday) they delivered me a brand spanking new Xbox. Was super impressed with the speed

I nevr get my box back first time

mine returned in a different box to the one I packed it in - so just bang it in a supermarket box with some bubble wrap or similar to stop it rattling around and lash loads of parcel tape around it

The first time I rang up they never said don't put it in the original box. They don't give you a new one if you complain either.

They do lots of thing if you complain. Ask to have a word with the manager.

I havnt complained about not getting the box back though.

I haven't used the repair service yet for mine. I've managed to get a brand new one from Gamestation each time they have broken as they have all been under a year old. Think I'm onto my 4th Xbox 360 and the latest might be on its way out as well!

I am sure i read NOT to send it back in the original box just cannot find where i did read that or perhaps that's what MS told me when i sent mine back

Anyone else found this? Sounds more like an error on Microsoft's part. Surely they have to return the one you sent as it's your property? Unless of course they're replacing it with a new one...

Can anyone tell me if you need to send the power brick too? They don't mention it on the emails I have received.

Thanks.
