hi guys, just wondering if this is possible. I am thinking of trading in my old xbox 360, non hdmi for an xbox elite. I was wanting to know if i would be able to completely wipe the hard drive on my current xbox and retrieve it on the new console. cheers

It is possible to transfer all data across including saved games etc,

you need to get a copy of xplorer360, basically a file management program that lets you move data from one xbox hard disk to another.

Its what you use when you upgrade the 20gb to a WD 120gb drive without paying for the offical one.

If i rem the gametag creates a folder within the hard disk called content which holds all the information, folders etc begining with Hex...., anyways do a search for xplorer 360 and you will see all the guides

......actually you will have an offical hard disk so i think there is some cable you can buy from microsoft that will do it, but dont know much about that bit.
