I was thinking of water cooling the xbox 360 to eliminate RROD but i have no idea what to buy, where to buy it or how to install it. Anyone know how to do it?

are you sure? The original xbox did,as did the original 360 design documents but a lot got changed as the rushed to market (like QA of the airflow for one :)) . 360 is just 2 fans, 2 heatsinks and various heatpipes depending on hardware revision.

If you don't have the first clue about watercooling or case mods I would not start with the 360.

Why bother?

You have a 3year warranty anyway.

lol no i dont have warranty. I've modded xbox with fans, different case etc

If you can mod the case then putting an extractor fan directly above the GPU heatsink is supposed to have excellent results.

Biggest problem with watercooling is fitting the pump and reservoir inside the existing case and getting the 360 to power it all.

A friend of mine did a quick and dirty mod of removing the whole top half of the case and replacing it with a dust screened mesh. Doesn't look pretty but it seems to work for him.
