tried rebooting and done the xbox connection test. It connects to router then internet but not to the last stage
#7
yes ace i looked at that thanks

Only certain people will be affected it's been a pos recently with various errors eg no marketplace / some of your content will not be available etc. to just signing out.

To op as mentioned above . reboot your modem router at least once when this happens, best to have upnp and dhcp enabled in router and use AUTO for IP and DNS on 360 test after reboot make sure you're being assigned an IP from your router even the 360 network test does not work properly at minute as it seems to no longer tell you that everything is OK eg xbox live is up a nd running. It seems to leave you without info until you press the yellow button to get codes

Its a sky problem with the update they last issued, hold on one of my friends rang them….

just got off phone to sky peoples, basically, their technical support team sent an update to everyones sky router and it 'accidently' knocked out the ability for sky routers to connect to xbox360 consoles, their technical support team are now working on another update to re-enable this problem...it could take up to 24 hours to fix…

That is what he found out.

If you got one of these and you're willing to bypass tand c and sky support

It would if the problem is as reported above that sky have issued a firmware update across their router/software range (users with dg834 can bypass sky firmware) which has rendered the sky firmware of not being able to connect/ open the appropriate port/protocol to use the xbxo live service/. Saying as netgear and dgt firmware will not have this bug.

If it has nothing to do with a service/firmware update from sky then yes you're right, it won't.

Explain this then, I'm on BEthere internet and I use my own router and the only person that can update that router is me.

Still no MSN or live domains.

However as mentioned in a post above, I changed my MTS and now I can access all MSN domains/Xbox live.

I've already explained . Don't bother starting an argument Co's you're arguing with yourself.

I've already said you are right if it has nothing to do with broken sky firmware.

Not starting an agrument, just telling people that the advice you gave (in good faith) will do nothing to solve the problem.

Just saving people's time!

use a wired solution on the one that won't connect at minute to see if that fixes it. Then go from there
