Tbh i think its going to be 1 accoutn per sky account and probably wont let you watch anything else on tele if you use the 360 - but im not 100% - but we will find out when it comes out

I heard to have the sports etc its going to be about £18 a month

If £18 is correct, will be cheaper than on Virgin anyway. :)

Doesnt sound too promising then, if it went ahead with what youve said that would suck lol.

Still can't believe NUFC cannot broadcast all home games via/sky/freeview/freesat/ for £5 a game

Is there not more Newcastle games on BBC?

I want use the sky player bit, only maybe if they offered a cheap subsription to watch shows on sky 1.

I wont pay per view and i wont pay a subscription if its the same or more expensive then what they offer through your tv.

Id bulldoze the lot if I was Mike Ashley, with those laughable dellusional fans still in it lol.

Anyway, if they had a pay-per-game option on the sky on xbox live, its would be a huge hit, but I for one wont be paying silly money when I only want to watch my teams away games.

With the current Sky Player you can have up to 4 computers registered per account but you have to identify one as a main computer as only that one will have access to Sky Movies and Sky One, so I'd assume the xbox just counts as one of those 4.

You can also only change your registered computers, or make a different computer your main computer, once a month.

As far as i know, you need sky multi room for this.

Well that was the rumour when it was announced.

Surely not though as they are aiming it at non sky customers too, surely
#32
I aint gonna be buying another sky account just so I can watch it on my 360 - thats just silly.

My sky box is sat right next to my 360 in my bedroom so would be pointless forking out money just so I can watch football with avatars - thats what the pub is for :p

Well you can also pay as well. But to be able to use it with your existing package, you needed multiroom.

Ahhh, that would make sense i suppose. i'll see if a friend knows anything about it as he works for sky, they might have been briefed if its out soon

Click ... Here!

...According to MTV Multiplayer, Microsoft plans to issue said beta publicly "middle-towards-end of October." That would point to a finalized roll out likely sometime in November, perfect timing for commercials that would air just prior to Black Friday's holiday shopping madness.

was going to start a new thread but thought I'd just update this one. the sky player will be going live on the 27th of october

http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/news-features/news/sky_player.htm

while in theory this sounds great I just can't help feel this will be another expensive service like the avatar shop, downloading full 360 games and renting movies that I'll never use and only clutters up the dashboard.
