Xbox/Microsoft points value question

Just a quick question... I just sold 2100 MS points on fleabay and they sold for £20.25 + £1.90 P+P.

the RRP is £17.99.

And on the xbox website you can buy them online here:
https://live.xbox.com/en-GB/accounts/BuyPoints.aspx?
2000 points for £17.00

Does anyone know why they are selling for more than they are worth?

Not that I am complaining!

People can't always use a credit/debit card. Some people have paypal accounts without a card attached.

You can only buy them on the MS site if you have a credit card... You have a lot more payment options via eBay & it's probably younger people who buy them who don't have credit cards :) (Well that's what I think anyway )

Also there is alot of stupid people about and the wealthy, that do not mind spending another couple of quid to get something.

Their stupidity is also compounded by the fact that they could save £1.90 by having the code emailed to them....

This calling your customers stupid has taken Asda by storm too. Just the other day, I walked in and the usual friendly greeter called me stupid once as I walked in and again on the way out. She even mentioned the bold tags. As you would expect I came back for more.

I think that its due to the lack of codes that were sold on flea bay over the holidays, there are usually (and are again now) people selling codes with instant delivery on eBay for £19-£22 depending on competition and without that prices for them go up even without instant delivery.

funny, too, that livepointsfirst.co.uk sell codes with paypal accepted with instant delivery for £18.50 and gamepointsnow for £17.50 although requires "authentication" of your address/phone number before you can buy.
