So I just turned on my xbox one after being away for Xmas, and I've got a load of games installed on it. Gta v, sunset overdrive, fifa 15, minecraft. I'm guessing they are demos but is it normal for it to download them without me selecting them? I do have it set instant on, but wasn't aware this was a feature

I don't have anything added personally, but I saw this vid the other day:

Is it anything like that, i.e. are those games full versions and not just demos?

Didn't think there was a gta v demo on xbox one?

They don't say demo, and the files are massive, just like that video. I did get this xbox second hand but can't find any trace of another account on it, was factory reset by the store I got it from. No history of purchases on my account either apart from xbox live renewals. How strange!

Apparently not, kinda worried I've been hacked or something.

I assume you checked your credit card (or whatever payment method you're using) and you're not billed for all these?

Yep pay with PayPal and nothing has been billed, the only thing I can think of is that whoever had this xbox before me has got another one, and they are buying these games, but as I said there's no trace of another account on this one

Yup, basically this Xbox is still assigned as the previous owners "Home" Xbox. Until they change it you'll have full access to any games they buy digitally. Enjoy it whilst it lasts, one day the owner will realise they can't play any of their digital games offline and set his new Xbox as his "Home".
