xbox slim question - Do i really need 250GB?
I think I've got 'firesale fever' - I've just purchased a 250gb xbox slim for £129.99, first off, good deal or par for the course? Not used an xbox for over a year and lost track of prices, seems to be okay but I can get similiar deals from amazon by the looks of it so I;m really undecided.
Secondly, i could have chosen the 4gb for £99.99 but didn't, would this have been a better bet? I don't play online so will I have use for 250GB? Can i transfer avi's to it like I can the playstation? or can I play avi's of a USB stick?
Haven't opened it yet so as long as Game stay in business today I could return it...

Preowned... and it's matte black instead of gloss. Is that all the space is for? Installing games?
If you intend to keep it stock it's ample.
250gb is plenty, the 4gb versions are definitely not enough. so the 250 you just purchased was a great deal,
Question about this: used games consoles are only under warranty with where you buy them from, right? Or would Microsoft cover it if it's new enough?
If the case is the former, then would you lose any kind of protection if/when Game go under?
OT: I don't think you'd need 250GB if you keep on top of your games. 50GB would be ample, to be honest. I usually sit at around 100GB, but that's because I can't be bothered deleting games I've installed and don't play any more and arcade games I'm done with.

12 months with Game (should they last that long), I imagine there would be some cover from MS but not certain. Purchased on a Credit Card so if goes **** up I think I can leave it at Capital Ones door.
Does not suit my needs.
