My son's birthday is in December and this year he's chosen to have some friends round to watch a dvd and have a birthday tea rather than having a party. He wants to watch a christmas film. He'll be 7 any ideas for the best chrimbo film for them? I want one that's good that they won't all have seen already.

Aah Shrek the Halls didn't think of that. Home alone isn't a bad choice either although he has already seen it. He's watched the snowman and father christmas to death already and is probably word perfect lol

that's a fab idea. yes I wanted something newer. I've been trying to think what if anything was at the cineams last December but couldn't think of one. If the Shrek one is that short I could have both.

Still hardly a feature film though.

Yeah but, kids at that age can't even last that long watching a film. So I think 30mins is pretty ideal.

last year christmas carol was the film in cinemas-you could maybe do that and polar express in 3d? both are available in 3d I believe.

Hi ya, Miracle on 34th street has always been my favorite (the new one, not the 1940's version), but may not be popular with 7 year old boys!

Have a look at wikipedia they have EVERY xmas film listed, there are hundreds!!! link below.

The Polar express PJ party sounds like a good idea

Elf would definitely be the one I would put on

Shrek the halls, grinch, muppet xmas carol, mickey mouse christmas carol, merry madagascar, nightmare before christmas, polar express

Simpsons, spongebob squarepants, scooby doo - all have christmas episodes on dvd, could be good for later when they have already sat through a long film
