Same sort of thing happened to me with an o2 transaction.

Go to your bank.

Mine was from my visa debit card and they did a charge back claim straight away.

Have you ever online shopped with them? The reason I ask is I had a shop from ASDA once the money went out but they never claimed it, and the amount went back on my balance, adn I never noticed, then they took it a few months later, and it's only when I looked back I could see for what shop it was.

It took me by supsrise as I never noticed they had not took the original amount and by then I had switched to sainsburys some months before.

i had meal out and they took the money for it 6 weeks later :w00t: very bad . But your right it could be something like that.

dont think the bank can do much unless its a credit card. If you phoned ASDA and they agrred to pay your money back then fine. Watch closely and keep following up. Otherwise, seek legal advice.

I did place an order with them for £100 but they sent the wrong stuff do i told the driver i didnt want them, he phoned his boss and they said that they would refund the money but they still took £90.

I posted a similar thread on here and found that a few people have had problems with asda and getting money back. I dont get paid for another 3 weeks and could really do with having the money back asap.

I called asda and they said they will refund the money but what if they dont, like i said, a few people have spent ages trying to get their money back.

I will phone the bank and ask them whats best.

of course they will refund. I dont see the panic here. You placed an order and they delivered it in good faith. They put the goods through the checkout and billed you there and then. Thats how things work when you order online!

The £90 is probably the full amount of the shopping. Dont be surprised if they still keep the delivery charge as its not their fault you changed your mind.

Im confused.
You ordered £100 worth ?

Refused certain items at the time of delivery ?
So they charged you a revised amount of £90 ?
Everything sounds fine to me.

I'd imagine it's customary to take funds when a company are delivering goods to your house. I'd also imagine things are running a little slow regards delivery times due to the weather.

You wanted to spend just over £100, you got the wrong stuff for some reason, but I'm sure they'll refund you.

Dunno what the problem is really.

EDIT: It's amazing how the details slowly but surely emerge - perhaps you should have given more detail in your original thread.

I should have done but I thought it was simple

Yeah, but read your post again, you make it sound like ASDA took money from your account for no particular reason:

Asda took £90 form my bank account, its already gone now, I didnt tell them they could take it, I have not had any goods from asda.

If I go to the bank will they sort it out?

At the end of the day the payment system is automated, I presume when your items go out for delivery ASDA will start the debit process from your asccount as once its out for delivery, they know a rough total amount and also know what items they have substituted.

So ASDA have debited your account because for all they know, you could receive them and then cancel your debit card.

You will receive the refund back within the next few days I presume.
