£202.02 per month for 59 payments at a rate of 4.5%
#6
Doesn't seem that high to me. Pretty sure personal loans around the same amount are 7%+

think 4.5% is pretty ok
#8
It needs some context.

Is this 4.5% monthly or 4.5% APR?

some ppl on here know i am having ongoing negotiations with kia due to a car i bought cash 4 years ago and i am in the position where i need a car and this will not be resolved anytime soon so i have looked around and haggled and have managed to get offered this!

I see.
Then the obvious comparison is what the "normal" cost from elsewhere would be.
The percentage may be good, but the price could be highered high to compensate. I have no idea if this is the case you specify, I am just giving an example.

Kia's, Hyundai's etc are notoriously worth little money secondhand, so you also need to factor this into your decision.

for what i need and the price i wasnt sure, but other cars are not as good but i will have no mot,s also, unlike buying one older and a bit cheaper but i would be running into mot,s, so not sure! as i have never had finance before so it makes it harder!

Aren't Vauxhall still doing an interest free option?

Me personally if you're having to get hire purchase / loan means you should be going for a nearly new car not a brand new one.

Two girls I know opted for new cars to impress the lads, one of them snapped the rear axle couldn't afford to get it repaired left with a car they are still paying for that they can't use.

Other one sold it with HP still on it...didn't tell the new owner.

vauxhall offering 10000000 mileage scheme, and after scouring everything and everywhere, best one so far was this for the above and not registered yet not thats what i,m interested in i just wanted a decent price for finance seen as i have never had it before! so confusing and worrying!

And the relevance of all this is? The Op asked for opinions on the payment/ interest rate, not which car YOU think she should buy or what your girlfriends did with their cars.
