I feel your annoyance! Having issues here with UPS!

Was in all day and apparently they knocked, no card left and was signed for by someone.

Still not tracked down my parcel :-(

But forced the driver's manager to get him back here tomorrow to find it for me!!!

I was supposed to have a delivery from M&S on the 8th December, I kept on emailing them asking where my order was no reply, got an email today saying that my item was damaged & had been returned to them! I then called them asking if my items could be replaced as they was Christmas presents there answer was no, we will refund you the money! so now need to go shopping for more presents grrr! :x

They should put a card in your door telling you what address they left the parcel at but it will only be one within 50 meter of your house, make sure the person who sign for it is not the manger back at the depot. What company was it ?

it just really narks me off.

1. Its not even the same city...if it was the wrong house number i could maybe...at a push understand....but the wrong city??

2..the driver has said parcel for whoever and this guy has just thought "hey happy days..free stuff"

Well Mr Lou...if you read this...i hope you enjoy your hello kitty stearing wheel cover

That's the common sense thing.....

Apparently my card was wedged in my door frame.....:whistling:

Different answers as to where it is each time I've rang! My poor husband as knocked on all the houses around us.

Let's see what happens tomorrow when the driver gets his bum here:whistling:

I'd ask to speak to a manager and make sure they know you're annoyed. I'm getting the driver here tomorrow to retrieve my parcel from wherever he's left it.....

I don't have an outside meter unfortunately.

Honestly...Christmas happens and delivery drivers lose whatever common sense they had.

Oh the first time I rang up the woman on the end of the phone just told me to go knocking on a few doors since it's in their terms they deliver to neighbours if you're not in.

Well I was in & I don't even know my neighbours....I have a feeling someone has stolen my £150 parcel :-(

:-D:-D

I was in the mood to argue my point, I'm still hormonal since popping baby out!

It worked though as they said they couldn't sort it til Monday now. Quick mention of complaint/fraud/police etc and they changed their mind :whistling:

i think alot of things go missing this time of year, if its not agency postal workers it someone else, im waiting on a couple of parcels from ebay that havent turned up from 2weeks ago, i think there in such a rush they dont care, ive had them leave parcels in my garden when i live on an open street, leave things behind the bin wothout tellin me, and it ended up ruined as it was a poster from snapfish in a cardboard tube. they have posted signed for items through without knocking for me to sign.

well good luck everyone...hope we all get our items..and not get overly stressed :)

Delivery driver turned up at 9am....said he'd left it over the road at a storage place...the bloke is barely there who it belongs to, but he just so happened to be yesterday?! Delivery driver said this bloke had said he takes parcels for me all the time...absolute lie as noone takes parcels for me.

So now delivery driver says he'll keep 'popping back to check if this bloke is there. I find this appalling...if this bloke who signed for it was honest he'd have brought it for me last night/this morning - knowing full well he's hardly there.

Bloke in the flat upstairs won't answer his door now so we can't ask for the number of the buy who owns the part downstairs.

This is a shambles & UPS are shocking for delivering to a non residental address & stating online it was. Plenty of houses around & he chooses a blooming lock up!

Did you pay for goods by plastic. Worth checking to see if you have any cover? Could be bad admin by delivery company. Hope so. If not you have been done. Let trading standards know if necessary so can minimise further cases.

any look with gettng your parcel back from york??
#24
Akme, did you get sorted?

I waited up til 2am to catch the guy who signed for my parcel (apparently he comes back to the lock up in the early hours) - he didn;t show.

So I have just rang the police & they had a number for him. As soon as he knew the police were involved he rang me straight away and said he'd drop it off before 9....

I will update if he delivers :)

Not a fan of UPS at all now!!!
