Standard thing if your card details have been pinched, the thief will try small amounts first usally Phone Credit... then something bigger. They did it to me. 2x orange top ups.... a travelodge room...a car (yes a car) 4 new tyres for said car then after that they realised they were hungry and went to Pizza hut!

My card details were stolen last year and they bought o2 pre paid cards, it's very common for them to buy o2 top ups because their security is rubbish

Never did find out where they got my card details from

The last ethnic garage you visited would be a good place to start.

Thanks for the message you sent Stelious! Do you think its the website we got the printers from? Im a bit niaive to be honest....dont know how this fraud stuff works. Thought you had to put the security number from the back of your card in when buying things?
Was going to check my account online as used my visa card to buy the printer but my bank have taken all details of the card off.....wish they would wipe the balance too lol x

Our credit card bill had a dodgy payment on it yesterday to the paypal account of Zimusoft for £60.
They supply development software for iphones. :|
No idea how it happened but RBS are sending out the forms to get it sorted out.

Im pretty sure when i had my details stolen they were taken from ShopTo. I still use the site but with Paypal only.
The thief though was pretty stupid, his first purchase was for some audio equipent worth £700, which got stopped straight away.

They like to use O2 payg to test if the info they have is correct, if they get that through they'll go on to buy laptops and other stuff they sell on quick.

Anyone seeing a charge on O2 should get hold of their bank right away. . .

the bank should have told you of any pending payments babybetty, you should be fine, the bank liable and have to refund you ANY money taken and you shouldn't have to pay any overdraft fees as a result of these illegal payments
Ahh thanks for the info...was getting into a bit of a panic over it! ;)
