Im sitting here starving after starting my diet yesterday. Ive at a slice of toast this morning and had a bowl of corn flakes this evening...thats it! ...However now i know its soooo not a good idea to take ur mind off the hunger by comming onto this site lol. Ive seen deals about chicken, pizza, restaurants... the list goes on.... :(

Malteasers, theyd be allowed wouldnt they?? Since theyre lighter than ordinary chocolate n all that??!!

Starvation is not a diet and you'll achieve nothing. Have a carrot or piece of fruit when you feel hungry or better still boil up a huge pot of veggies in a nice tomato sauce and have a bowlful when you feel peckish.

If all you have had is toast and cornflakes that lovely tomato and cucumber is gonna be stored as fat, happy dieting lol.

I see diets as a punishment.

We only live once so why stop ourselves from eating foods that we like?

A piece of toast and a bowl of cornflakes is dangerous - most people can eat that for their breakfast.

yeah thats not really a diet - just eat a bit less and do a bit more - simple.
to lose about a pound a week its not even 700 cals under normal without any exercise.
probably a short walk and 1 less mars bar or bag of crisps a day is about same.
you have had about 250-400cals which is ridiculous tbh.

I've eaten 6 meals today.
Like others have said starvation is not a diet, just lay off the carbs and fat.

Dont eat mars bars, nor much chocolate nor much crisps nor junk food... i cook all meals from scratch, eat fresh & healthily... I dont understand myself why ive put on excess weight... when I say excess dont imagine me as being the size of a house pls hehe ... im actually quite petite and a healthy size 12 but because i am petite any excess weight doesnt look good. My daughter is now 2&1/2, since being born I lost weight but as shes getting older shes more independent therefore less running around for me...shes at a snacky eating stage so ill kinda snacky eat with her throughout the day which must be effecting me aswell as lack of excercise. With teh better weather weve had its been a good time to start my diet as ive been out walking and doing loads of things around the house to keep me active so thats good.

Today ive had a med. style breakfast - boiled egg, tomatoes, cucumber, a wee cheese triangle and a sml piece of bread. Then for lunch I had bean sprouts, onion & mushroom. Dinner will be chicken & salad. So I dont think im punusihing myself too much... trying to keep it real :)

thanks tinkerbell - i'll be happy being comfortable in my size 10s. Which is ideal for my size, that would suit me fine. So hopefully I can achieve that soon but I also hate diets, they are no fun at all ! Change of lifestyle is a better way to put it x
