Oh well, glad you're back again - safe and sound.

Someone has to make a total misery of the journey for everyone else. I don't mean it sweetheart, it sounds like a nightmare. The people will have appreciated your predicament and like you for saying sorry.

give it a few yrs.....my 2 yr old will be 5 and then i will be the one giving evils and cursing under my breath. disney was good but OMG the amount of stressed parents and crying kids...not to mention the borderline abuse trying desperately to be disguised.

its mad as u gotta rush to freont of shows etc..and kids dont like that...in playhouse disney live we got to front and kid next to me wasnt sitting..she was like 3...max... and her mum was VEXED...she kicked off at her mother/sister behind her and dragged her kid out saying 'u ungrateful little.......' oh so fun!

haha no really i know i had the brat kid who was uncontrollable. thing people didnt understand is the more he gets stressed out (ie tiredness) the more he scratches his eczema...thwe more irritable and less relaxed he gets...evil lil cycle...its all about keeping him calm.

on the plane hes no better...kicks chair and doesnt tk no for an answer....!!very embarrasing!!

luckily was a 'family' carriage.....but ppl next to us just got their kids to sleep./...so wanted them to stay asleep....fair play to them..i felt bad but what can u do?!

teach him a lesson. or attach him to a toy or blanky and then take it away when he gets naughty. do something rather than nothing....

otherwise he'll just end up like all the other scally kids on the estate...like that 7 year old who robbed a ten year old a knife point and nicked his scooter.

dish some discipline

haha....yep...he had his dummy which we tried to play like that...and other bits....to be fair...it was mostly due to fact he was SHATTERED so wanted his bed.....he was doing his thomas sticker book and was stressing there werent enough stickers...it was pathetic.... a kid thing...tired...scratching ezema..getting more uncomfortable..more tantrums....

dont worry we didnt just sit there...hubby and me took turns sitting in between carriages with him so he wouldnt overly disturb....5 yr old got ignored bless !!

Poor poppet, it's a misery for them when they're not old enough to 'endure' in silence. You just have to hang in there and stay calm. Like you say there's nothing you can do .

I laughed at your tale of the 3 yr old at the Disney show.
Nothing ........ like as bad as at the show in Thailand the other week where two older sisters, with their two younger brothers, were down at the front of 'an authentic Thai show' with trad dancing etc. The brothers ( I guess 7 & 9)got completely out of hand and were literally fighting with and screaming at each other. They were on the same row as us. The sisters were hanging on for dear life. Security guy came over and it calmed down for a minute then kicked off big time. The sisters just couldn't hold on, then one managed to drag the older brother back up to where mum was , who shouted and carried on. Never seen anything like it before. That will never happen to you.

I was thinking about writing a thread like this when I was on the train for nearly 3 hours and having to listen to a little girl literally moaning or laughing without a single break...even her poor mum was knackered....I really felt like saying something, as the little girl woke me up every time I drifted off and I was already completely shattered.

Anyway....how was your trip to Disney, do you have any additional tips since we're looking at booking our trip tomorrow?

I noticed that when we went in January, was laughing so much at that, and felt so glad I didn't have that carp yet.

haha...... we took him to bit in between carriages but then theres only so much u can sit there with him as well.... so glad it was a fmaily carriage we chose....if there were normal adults we would have felt even worse!

disney is good...ESPECIALLY if u have girls....we got 2 boys (5 and 2) so was a bit more meh....rides are mediocre but shows are awesome. defo do them....my fave show was animagique and defo stitch live.... very very good. everything is central. we stayed in new york hotel which was awesome...walking distance as was almost part of disneyland. if u have any questions lemme know!!

You should try being on a 14hr flight with a screaming kid.
Now whenever I fly I always take with me my Bose noise cancelling headphones and a supply of valium, a large G&T from the trolley dolly ensures a peaceful journey.

As for trains, I think I would have preferred a screaming kid to my carriage being full of drunk wimmen from Doncaster singing show tunes all they way up from London I really didnt need to see that fast girls kebab. really put me off my pannini.
