Here's how it works. You have to write your job title, the thing you like most about it (a pro), and the thing you least like about it (a con), and then also give it an overall rating out of 10.

It's my form of research into different careers, haha. I have resigned from my job because i'm not enjoying it and wanted to see what other people are doing as a form of brainstorming. I'll start anyway...

Job: Software Developer

Pro: Internet access at all times

Con: Mind numbing and too few employees

Politician ( be nice!)


Pros -- i get to help the community, make changes and get things done.
Cons- you get tarred with the same negative brush as those on the gravy train and also it is very stressfull.

Pretty much exactly the same as me, I don't do anything and i'm in pain basically 24/7 due to my foot.

Pro's I spend a lot of time by myself driving around the country.
Con's Driving on the bloody motorways with idiots

9 out of 10 I do love my job though!

Job: Lawyer

Pro: Being trusted and knowing my own rights in everyday situations etc.

Con: Having to chase clients for debts at court. It is not nice. Especially after you have just spent months representing them.

Rating: 10/10 - I absolutely love my job.

Pros: Helping people get better, still get to do hands on care alongside the managerial issues

Cons: Unsocial and long hours, low staffing levels, ungrateful patients and relatives (there seems to be more these days), NHS politics, regular patients who like being in hospital!

Rating: 8/10 (putting aside the cons!)
